Good Afternoon, Nova Classical Families,
Below is information regarding our SOS Days. Please read thoroughly, especially if this is your child's first SOS Day! :)
Dropping Off/Picking Up:
SOS days begin at 7:30 AM and end promptly at 5:30 PM - this end time is different than during regular Scholar Zone, so please plan accordingly!! When you arrive to drop off or pick up, please call the Scholar Zone phone number (651-706-2375). A staff member will tell you where to drop your child off or pick them up. You must sign them in/out with a staff member before leaving. There are no strict drop-off/pick-up windows; know that your child may miss portions of our activity/craft if they are dropped off later or picked up early. If we are not at the playground, drop-offs and pick-ups are done at the Knight Side door #5.
Lunch/Snacks/Drinks:
Each child must bring their own lunch, 4 snacks (morning and afternoon), and a water bottle each SOS day.
Quiet Time:
Feel free to send your child(ren) with a small blanket or towel to use during our quiet/rest time! I know a lot of Kindergarteners are used to having this as part of their routine, so if you think they'd prefer to have something comfy for the time, feel free to send something along for the day!
Outdoor Gear:
Please send your children with appropriate outdoor gear. We sometimes spend significantly more time outside than during their normal school day, so it's important they have appropriate outdoor wear. Students are not required to wear their uniforms on SOS days.
